The Aldar Gift Card

The Aldar Gift Card is the property of Aldar Properties PJSC and its licensors. These terms and conditions of use ("Terms of Use") apply to your use of the Aldar Gift Card along with all associated applications and sites linked to the Aldar Gift Cards by Aldar, its subsidiaries and affiliates ( collectively,"Aldar","we","us" or "our" ). Aldar Gift Card allows you to make purchases at any of the Aldar Locations stipulated below and available on the Aldar Gift Card website ("Website"). By accessing and using the Website, you agree to these Terms of Use. 

Aldar reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms of Use, at any time. It is your responsibility to check these Terms of Use periodically for changes. Your continued use of Aldar Gift Card following the posting of changes will constitute your express consent to the changes to these Terms of Use. As long as you comply with these Terms of Use, Aldar grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to enter and use the Website and purchase products therein, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective sellers.

Nothing in these Terms of Use affects your statutory rights, either as a consumer of services or otherwise.

1. WEBSITE SERVICES

The Website operates as an online marketplace and is designed to connect you ("you" ,"your" or "Buyers") with Aldar by allowing you to access and purchase Aldar Gift Card ("Product"). Aldar Products are owned, controlled or made available by Aldar and the Website acts only as a user interface.

No agency relationship will be created between us and any supplier or you concerning the listing and transaction, whether or not such transactions are entered into via the Website.

2. PRIVACY POLICY

Aldar's Privacy Policy applies to the use of Website and the personal information you provide. The terms of the Privacy Policy are made a part of these Terms of Use by this reference.

3. ACCOUNTS, PASSWORDS and SECURITY

For the purpose of using Aldar Gift Card Services, you are required to register an account on www.aldargiftcard.com (including setting up an ID and verifying your one-time password ("OTP")).

4. REGISTRATION

Use of the Website is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years of age and can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. You represent, acknowledge and agree that you are at least 18 years of age, and that:

  • (a) all registration information that you submit is truthful and accurate;
  • (b) you will maintain the truthfulness and accuracy of such information; and
  • (c) your use of the services offered through the Website do not violate any applicable law or regulation.

Your Account (defined below) may be terminated without warning if we, at our discretion, believe that you are under the age of 18 years of age or that you are not complying with any provisions of these Terms of Use, applicable laws, rules or regulations.

To visit and view the Website you do not need to register on the platform, but to access certain features of Website, you will need to create a password-protected account ("Account"). You will also have the ability to provide additional optional information, which is not required to create an Account, but may be helpful to us in providing you with a more customized experience when using the Website.

You are solely responsible for safeguarding the confidentiality of your Account, its usage and the OTP associated with your Account at all times.

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs on your Account and you shall notify us immediately of any breach of security or any unauthorized use of your Account. Similarly, you shall never use another user's Account without our permission.

You agree that you will not misrepresent yourself or represent yourself as another user of the Website. You hereby expressly acknowledge and agree that you, and not Aldar, will be liable for any losses and/or damages etc. (whether direct or indirect) caused by any unauthorized use or activity associated with your Account. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you may be liable for the losses to Aldar or others impacted (whether direct or indirect) due to such unauthorized use.

You will not be charged by us for registering an account or browsing the Website. You will only be responsible for making payment(s) for any purchases on the Website (including any tax on the purchase price, if any).

Aldar reserves the right to refuse access to the Website, terminate Accounts without the need for a court order, remove or edit Content, or cancel orders in Aldar's sole and absolute discretion. If Aldar cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.

5. GIFT CARD INFORMATION

The Aldar Gift Card is a prepaid card and should be treated just like cash in a wallet or purse. If the Aldar Gift Card is registered at www.aldargiftcard.com website, it can be replaced if lost or stolen. Subject to clause 3 below, if the Aldar Gift Card is not registered and you lose the Aldar Gift Card or it is stolen, you will lose any funds held on the Aldar Gift Card just as if you lost your wallet or purse.

The Aldar Gift Card can only be used in the retail outlets located in YAS Mall, Jimi Mall, Al Hamra Mall, RAK, WTC Abu Dhabi, Yas Plaza Hotels, W hotel, Yas Theme Parks, Warner Brothers, Ferrari World and ALDAR Retail Communities (the "Locations") and any other facilities as may be designated from time to time by the Malls.

The Aldar Gift Card is not a debit, credit or charge card. It cannot be used to obtain cash via any ATM machine or over any counter, to carry out mail order, internet or other non-face to face transactions as a guarantee of the payment or as an arrangement for periodic billing (without prejudice to clause 4 "Redeeming Unspent Funds"). There is no credit line associated with the Aldar Gift Card. The Aldar Gift Card cannot be topped up or reloaded.

You are required to keep the Aldar Gift Card and the numbers on it safe and secure for the user's own personal use. Any misuse by a third party will be at your risk (see clause 3 below).

When purchasing the Aldar Gift Card, the Buyer must pay the one-off Cost of the Card (see the Summary Box below) and purchase an amount between AED50 and AED 36,000 to be loaded to the Aldar Gift Card. The currency of the Aldar Gift Card is AED.

It is expected that the Aldar Gift Card may be used at any retail outlet in the Locations, however you specifically agree that Aldar will not be liable if you are unable use the Aldar Gift Card in any specific retail outlet within the Locations. Additionally, Aldar cannot guarantee that the Locations that have agreed to accept the Aldar Gift Card will continue to accept the Aldar Gift Card.

The Aldar Gift Card will be valid for 12 months from its date of purchase ("Card Validity Period") or until all the value stored on your Aldar Gift Card has been deducted, whichever occurs earlier. After the Card Validity Period ends, the Aldar Gift Card may not be used except in accordance with clause 4 and the terms stated in the summary box included here in.

6. ORDERS AND PAYMENT

By registering through the Website, you confirm the accuracy of all the information you provide. The use of your information is detailed in the Privacy Policy.

By confirming your purchase at the end of the checkout process, you agree to accept and pay the full amount payable for the Products, as indicated during the checkout process. Once you have paid online, your payment is non-refundable.

Order confirmation is notified to you within the Website and via an email. The primary objective of the Website is to provide interactive interface to Aldar Gift card user.

When you place your order, the Website automatically asks your card issuer for authorisation for the transaction amount. If we receive a valid authorisation, your card issuer will hold this value expecting a charge from us. The receipt of your credit or debit card details and debit of payments does not constitute our acceptance of your order. If your payment cannot be verified, is invalid or otherwise unacceptable, your order may be suspended or cancelled automatically.

We take reasonable care to make the Website secure. All credit/debit card transactions on the Website are processed using ADCB online payment mechanism, a secure PCI compliant online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.

To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

If the issuer of your credit or debit card refuses to authorise payment, we will cancel your order and contact you for an alternative method of payment. We cannot be held responsible if this results in a delay in dispatching your order. Further, it is your responsibility to keep track of the status of your order.

Please note that we do not guarantee the security of data that you send to us by email. Accordingly, please do not send us any payment information via email. Unless we act either fraudulently or negligently, we will not be liable to you for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to the personal and transactional information you provide to us when placing an order.

When you make a purchase using the website you are representing to us that (i) any credit information you supply is true and complete, (ii) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit/debit card company, and (iii) you will pay the charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including any applicable taxes.

7. CURRENCY CONVERSION

Transactions in currencies other than AED will be converted to AED according to applicable currency conversion regulations and procedures. Please note that the foreign currency exchange rate used in the conversion may differ from the foreign currency exchange rate in effect on the date you used the Aldar Gift Card and will include a Currency Conversion Fee of 3.00%.

8. COLLECTION OF Aldar GIFT CARD PURCHASED ONLINE

We endeavour to deliver your orders within the agreed delivery timelines.Once you have completed the online purchase journey you will receive and email with collection code and PIN within 12 hours. Please produce your e receipt either on your mobile device or a printout of email issued by Aldar, for exchange into Aldar Gift Card. This e-receipt must be produced as proof of payments/receipt on the day of exchange detailing a valid collection codeand PIN. Your collection code is valid for 6 months.

9. USING THE Aldar GIFT CARD

The Aldar Gift Card is available for purchase at such designated outlets as may be advertised by Aldar or the Locations from time to time. You will need to present your original Emirates ID or Passport to complete the purchase.

Only the user whose signature is on the back of the card may use the Aldar Gift Card for transactions. The user must sign the Aldar Gift Card upon receipt. User will require to register an account ( or log into your existing Aldar Gift Card account if you have already registered an account previously) and then activate Aldar Gift card. Please setup the PIN for the purchase transactions of AED 500 & above.

The user is responsible for keeping track of the available balance on the Aldar Gift Card. To check your balance at any time or to check your previous transactions, you can go to www.aldargiftcard.com. Sign in using your mobile number used during registration. You can also check your balance by calling 800 9276255 YASMALL, 600 565 464, Al Jimi Mall, 025082400 WTC Abu Dhabi Mall,07243 4444 Al Hamra Mall, RAK.

Aldar Gift Card may only be redeemable in-store and cannot be used to complete any online purchases. At the time of each transaction on the Aldar Gift Card, there must be enough value stored on the Aldar Gift Card to pay for the transaction. Transactions that exceed the remaining Aldar Gift Card balance will be declined at the point of sale. However, if accepted by the Location, the amount that exceeds the remaining Aldar Gift Card balance can be paid using a different payment method provided that the Aldar Gift Card is charged only an amount equivalent to the remaining balance on the Aldar Gift Card. Aldar cannot guarantee the acceptance of a different payment method by the Locations in the circumstances described in this clause 9.

You agree that the value stored on the Aldar Gift Card will be reduced by the value of all purchases made at any retail outlet in the Location that are authorized by you. Transactions are authorized by you when you:

  • (a) swipe your Aldar Gift Card or allow an operator or other person to do so, at an electronic point of sale terminal at any retail outlet in the Location; or
  • (b) give any retail outlet in the Location the details of the Aldar Gift Card and authorize the transaction in some other way approved by the retail outlet.
  • When you authorize a transaction:
  • (a) you are confirming that the transaction correctly represents the purchase price of the goods or services obtained; and
  • (b) you are agreeing to pay the amount of that transaction by the reduction of the remaining Aldar Gift Card value by an amount equivalent to the purchase price of the goods or services obtained.

10. TELEPHONE CALLS

Calls to and from Aldar regarding the Aldar Gift Card may be monitored and/or recorded.

11. LOSS, THEFT, DAMAGE, MISUSE

If your Aldar Gift Card is lost, stolen, damaged or misused, you can login into your Aldar Gift Card Account and mark the Gift Card Lost/Stolen or write to customercare@aldargiftcard.com or call immediately 800 927 6255 YASMALL , 600 565 464 Al Jimi Mall, 025082400 WTC Abu Dhabi Mall, 07243 4444 Al Hamra Mall, RAK. Subject to clause 11 and clause 12, your Aldar Gift Card will be cancelled, and if it holds funds for an amount equal to the Replacement Fee (as stated in the summary box included herein), it will be replaced with a new Aldar Gift Card. Any balance then remaining will be transferred to the new Aldar Gift Card. Your new Aldar Gift Card will only be reissued after a period of up to 15 business days following your request, to ensure that details of all transactions up to cancellation have been received. An Aldar Gift Card Replacement Fee of AED 15 will be deducted from the card balance. If the ALDAR Gift Card is registered at www.aldargiftcard.com website, it can be replaced if lost or stolen. Subject to clause 3, if the ALDAR Gift Card is not registered and you lose the ALDAR Gift Card or it is stolen, you will lose any funds held on the ALDAR Gift Card just as if you lost your wallet or purse.

12. REDEEMING UNSPENT FUNDS

You should use all of the value of the Aldar Gift Card before the end of the Card Validity Period. You may redeem the balance of any unspent funds on the Aldar Gift Card in accordance with the terms stated in the summary box included herein, by so requesting it by email to customercare@aldargiftcard.com or by calling 800 927 6255 YASMALL, 600 565 464 Al Jimi Mall,02-5082400 WTC Abu Dhabi Mall, 07243 4444 Al Hamra Mall, RAK.

Any balance left on the Aldar Gift Card after the right to redeem has ceased to apply will be forfeited.

13. OWNERSHIP/RETURN/CANCELLATION/DESTRUCTION OF THE Aldar GIFT CARD

We retain ownership of the Aldar Gift Card at all times. It should be returned to the Locations or destroyed as soon as it has no spending or redemption value, or if cancelled, or if required by us pursuant to clause 5 above.

You are not entitled to cancel the Aldar Gift Card.

We may decide to cancel the Aldar Gift Card at any time without informing you in advance. If we do, any remaining balance stored on your Aldar Gift Card will be refunded or exchanged to you in any manner as we may specify. Your Aldar Gift Card will also be cancelled when you have used up all the value stored on your Aldar Gift Card or your right to redeem any unspent funds has expired (see summary box included herein). In any such events, you will not be entitled to claim for compensation against us or the Locations.

14. REFUNDS OF GIFT CARD

ALDAR Gift Card cannot be returned,refunded or exchanged once purchased.

15. LIABILITY AND ERROR RESOLUTION PROCEDURES

You agree that neither Aldar nor the Locations will be liable to you if you are unable to use your Aldar Gift Card, if such inability is a result of your own or a third party's acts and omissions, negligence or default, or a force majeure event.

Neither Aldar nor the Locations are liable for any failed transaction if you do not have sufficient funds stored on your Aldar Gift Card to carry out a transaction, the terminal or system is not working properly, or circumstances beyond our control prevent the transaction.

If there is a discrepancy, complaint or dispute relating to the goods or services purchased with a Aldar Gift Card, you must address it and settle it directly with the relevant retail outlet in the Location in question. Refunds and returns are subject to the policies of the relevant retail outlet in Location or applicable law. In case of other errors on your Aldar Gift Card account, call 800 927 6255 immediately or email customercare@aldargiftcard.com  to consider your discrepancy, complaint or dispute, you must complete and send a written form to customercare@aldargiftcard.com  no later than 30 days after the disputed transaction occurred, or Aldar will be unable to investigate your claim in which case you will be liable for the transactions. Please contact us for a copy of dispute form by emailing to  customercare@aldargiftcard.com and it will be emailed to you. In addition, you undertake to take all necessary steps to assist Aldar in its investigations. The investigation of the disputed transaction may take up to 90 days, depending on the type of transaction. Aldar are not responsible for investigating any loss if you do not inform Aldar to reverse a transaction within the applicable time limit and in accordance with the procedure set out in this paragraph.

To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify Aldar and the Locations against any loss or damage we may suffer due to any claim, demand or action of any kind brought against us directly or indirectly because you:

  • (a)did not observe your obligations hereunder; or
  • (b)acted negligently or fraudulently in connection with these Terms of Use.

16. YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of the Website, or any other systems or networks connected to the Website or to any Aldar server, or to any of the services offered on or through the Website, by hacking or any other illegitimate means.

You agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Website or any transaction being conducted on the Website, or with any other person's use of the Website.

You may not use the Website or any Content for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use, or to solicit the performance of any illegal activity or other activity which infringes the rights of Aldar or others.

Aldar grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Website for their intended purposes subject to your compliance with these Terms of Use and our policies. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Website. You may not use any program, algorithm, process or methodology to access, acquire, copy or monitor any portion of the Website or any Content, or in any way reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Website or any Content, to obtain or attempt to obtain any materials, documents or information through any means not purposely made available through the Website. Aldar reserves the right to bar any such activity. You may only access the Website through the interfaces that we provide for that purpose (for example, you may not "scrape" the Website or its Contents through automated means or "frame" any part of the Website), and you may not interfere or attempt to disrupt and Products offered on the Website.

17. CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Content, including but not limited to the design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, "look and feel" and arrangement of such Content, contained on the Website is owned, controlled or licensed by or to Aldar, and is protected by trade dress, copyright, patent and trademark laws, and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws.

Except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, no part of the Website and no Content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted or distributed in any way to any other computer, server, website or other medium for publication or distribution or for any commercial enterprise, without Aldar's express prior written consent.

While accessing the Website, you shall not:

  • (a)violate any laws, regulations, third party rights or our policies, such as third party's intellectual property rights;
  • (b)fail to deliver payment for the Products purchased by you;
  • (c)manipulate the billing process of Aldar, or fail to deliver the payment or fee owed to Aldar;
  • (d) undermine the feedback or ratings systems;
  • (e) transfer your account (including your user ID and OTP) to another party without prior written consent from us;
  • (f) distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm Aldar and the Website, or the interests or property of other users;
  • (g) collect information of other users, including, but not limited to, their email addresses and user ID's, without their advance consent, in order to reap profits;
  • (h) provide false data including false names, addresses and contact details and fraudulent use of credit/debit card numbers;
  • (i)enter into fraudulent interactions or transactions with us or a third party supplier (which shall include entering into interactions or transactions purportedly on behalf of a third party where you have no authority to bind that third party or you are pretending to be a third party); or
  • (j)otherwise incur any liability to Aldar.

18. CHANGE OF WEBSITE AND CESSATION OF OPERATIONS

We reserve the right to change or correct any errors or omissions on the Website, and to alter, limit or discontinue the provision of any of the services provided through the Website, any time without prior notice to you. Aldar will use reasonable efforts to include up-to-date and accurate information on the Website, but it reserves the right to delete, modify, or supplement the content of the Website at any time for any reason without prior notification in its sole and absolute discretion.

19. ACTIONS AND CHANGES BY US

We may from time to time change these Terms of Use. We may from time to time take such actions and/or make such changes as we reasonably consider necessary for any of the purposes of protecting electronic funds from misuse, fraud prevention, or complying with applicable law or regulation. These may include (but are not restricted to):

  • (a)making changes to these Terms of Use;
  • (b)cancelling the Aldar Gift Card and refunding any balance due;
  • (c)declining to authorize transactions;
  • (d)suspending or restricting all or part of the operation of the Aldar Gift Card and/or the security code;
  • (e)instructing the relevant retail outlet in the Location to retain the Aldar Gift Card.

If we do any of the above, we will give you as much notice and in such manner as is reasonably practicable (unless circumstances are exceptional).

Aldar and/or the Locations will not be liable to you or any third party for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from the actions taken by us in accordance with this clause 5.

20. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Additional terms and conditions apply to purchases of Products and to specific portions or features of the Website, including promotions or other similar features, all of which terms are made a part of these Terms of Use by this reference. You agree to abide by such other terms and conditions, including where applicable representing that you are of sufficient legal age to use or participate in such service or feature. If there is a conflict between these Terms of Use and the terms posted for or applicable to a specific portion of the Website or for any service offered on or through the Website, the latter terms shall control with respect to your use of that portion of the Website or the specific service.

21. THIRD PARTY LINKS

The Website may contain links to other independent third party applications and web sites ("Linked Sites"). These Linked Sites are provided solely as a convenience to our visitors. Such Linked Sites are not under Aldar's control, and Aldar is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of such Linked Sites, including any information or materials contained on such Linked Sites. You will need to make your own independent judgment regarding your interaction with these Linked Sites.

22. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

Aldar does not promise that the Website or any Content, service, Product or feature of the Website will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected, or that your use of the Website will provide specific results. The Website and its Content are delivered on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. All information provided on the Website is subject to change without notice. Aldar cannot ensure that any files or other data you download from the Website will be free of viruses or contamination or destructive features. To the extent permitted by law, Aldar disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of accuracy, non-infringement, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

23. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permissible by applicable law, Aldar, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective suppliers, and any of their owners, officers, directors, managers, members, agents, and employees:

  • (a)are not liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages or loss (including, without limitation, incidental and consequential damages, lost profits, or damages resulting from lost data or business interruption) arising out of, or in a way connected with the use or inability to use the Website, its Content or purchase of Products, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, and whether or not Aldar is advised of the possibility of such damages; and

  • (b)exclude any and all liability for damages caused by, any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any communications due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or on the Website or combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any users or to any person's computer related to or resulting from use of the Website.

Where it is not possible to exclude liability under applicable law, you agree that Aldar's maximum liability for any corresponding claim shall be limited to an amount of AED 100.

24. INDEMNITY

You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Aldar, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective suppliers, and any of their owners, officers, directors, managers, members, agents, and employees, from and against any claims, liabilities, suits, judgments, litigation costs, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages (actual and consequential), fines, penalties, and attorneys fees or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature arising from or in any way related to your use of the Website, including, but not limited to those brought by you or on your behalf in excess of the liability described above, or by third parties as a result of your breach of these Terms of Use, your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, or your use of the Website .

25. ENTIRE UNDERSTANDING

These Terms of Use (as amended from time to time in accordance with its terms) and Privacy Policy sets out the entire understanding and agreement between you and Aldar with respect to the use of the Website.

26. TERMINATION

Aldar may terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Website, without court order and without prior notice, if it believes that your conduct is in violation of these Terms of Use, applicable law, or otherwise harmful to the interests of the Aldar or any third party. Notwithstanding, such termination or suspension, you agree that you will continue to be subject to the obligations which, by their nature, survive such termination or suspension.

27. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

To fulfil our obligations to you under these Terms of Use, we may wish to communicate with you by email and/or by posting notices on the Website. You agree to receive communications from us electronically and these electronic communications will satisfy any legal requirement for communications which need to be in writing.

28. GENERAL TERMS

Relationship: None of the provisions of these Terms of Use will be deemed to constitute a partnership or agency between you and Aldar and you will have no authority to bind Aldar in any manner whatsoever.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms of Use is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable and can be deleted without altering the essence of these Terms of Use, the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will remain in full force or effect.

No Waiver: Any failure by Aldar to enforce any terms set out in these Terms of Use or other policies with you is not a waiver of Aldar's rights to enforce those terms.

29. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Any dispute regarding these Terms of Use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Abu Dhabi. If any portion of these Terms of Use is held to be unenforceable, invalid or illegal by any court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of the Terms of Use shall not be affected.

30. FEEDBACK AND INFORMATION

Any feedback you provide at the Website shall be deemed to be non-confidential. Aldar shall be free to use such information on an unrestricted basis.

Limits The Aldar Gift Card must be loaded with a value of between AED 50 and AED 36,000 at the Mall Customer Services Desks including the AED 15 fees, and cannot be re-loaded after the initial purchase.
The Aldar Gift Card must be loaded with a value of between AED 50 and AED 3,600 for online purchases on www.aldargiftcard.com including the AED 15 fees and cannot be re-loaded after the initial purchase.

Usage Restrictions The Aldar Gift Card can only be used in AldarMalls, Communities and Partner retail outlets.

Redeeming Unspent Funds after Card Validity Period ends The entire value of the Aldar Gift Card should be used before the end of the Card Validity Period of 12 months (which period shall begin immediately from the date of purchase of the Aldar Gift Card). Upon the expiry date, the Aldar Gift Card will become invalid for use, cannot be reactivated and all available funds remaining in the Aldar Gift Card shall be forfeited. However, if you contact us no later than one (1) month prior to the expiry date with a minimum balance of AED 65, you will be issued a new Aldar Gift Card ("Replacement Card") and your existing available funds will be transferred to the Replacement Card with a deduction of AED 15 which you will be charged as a 'Replacement and a Reactivation Fee'. For the avoidance of doubt, a Replacement Card can be issued only once, and you will not be entitled to receive any further cards should the Replacement Card expire. Further, unless otherwise specifically stated, once the Aldar Gift Card and/or the Replacement Card have expired, the available funds in the Aldar Gift Card will not be refunded to you in any form whatsoever.
